You're Special Card

I used the Art Philosophy Cartridge to cut out this 5" Circle card in Colonial White cardstock.  Other materials include Desert Sand cardstock; Cocoa cardstock; "A Tulip" stamp set for the images and sentiment.  The layout came from the Wishes How-To Book "Sentiment Secured".  Hope you like it!

"Thank You" & "Sending Warm Wishes" Cards

I love this stamp set!
AND  it was so fun to make this card.  I have to admit this is the first time I've used markers to color in a stamped image and it actually made me think, "I need to get my hands on all of these markers"!  These markers are a great tool and I love the double end which can help you create the perfect look!

On a side note the CTMH Spring/Summer Idea Book will be the last time the markers will be featured, they will not be available in the 2012 Fall/Winter Idea Book.  So if you to love to use markers and haven't completed your collection, hurry and get them before they are gone.  Click here to choose colors

For this card I used the Art Philosophy Cartridge to cut out this adorable scalloped edge card in Sunny Yellow cardstock and the Tag in White cardstock.  I used the "A Garden" CTMH stamp set to stamp the images.  I first stamped the flowers in Tulip Ink on the tag and then the vase in Olive Ink to match up with the flowers.  I stamped the sentiment "Thank You" in Tulip Ink on the tag and the butterfly image on a scrap piece of white cardstock and then cut it out.  I colored the flowers in using the Smoothie marker to give it a lighter color and the Olive marker to color in the vase as well as the Tulip marker to do the design on the vase.  I used the Cotton Candy marker to make the stitching outline around the tag.  To finish off the card I used Sweet Leaf cardstock to go around the front and back of the card and White ribbon for the bow.

I also made this card in a larger size, 7", changing it up just a bit.

"Thinking of You" Card

A very dear friend lost her grandmother while we were away, this card is for her.  It's so hard to lose someone your close to and love very much.  There are no words you can say to take the hurt away but hopefully knowing that your friends and family are there for you and thinking of you can give you a little comfort.

I made this card using the "A Blossom" CTMH stamp set.

Back From Up North!

Hello!  Sorry I wasn't able to post while I was up North, no service!  Here is one of the sights we saw just down the road from the camp.  We saw a total of 6 moose while we were up there.  Incredible!

The weather was so nice, we had several days in the 70's.  We went for a 4-wheeler ride through the woods down to the lake, all the ice is gone!

It was so relaxing, we did whatever inspired us at that moment.  I was able to get my creative juices flowing too!

Here is a Birthday Card I made using some old and new.  White cardstock; Sweet Leaf cardstock; Sophia B&T duo paper; Red Button Assortment; and Paradise Paper Flowers.

It's good to be home and back to reality but it sure was nice to be "out of touch" with the real world for a few days!

Stay tuned for more cards in the upcoming days...

Hello everyone, I'm leaving for a few days to go scrapbooking with my mother and daughter, I'm so excited and I can't wait to go.  We are headed up North and the weather is supposed to be very nice for the next couples of days, should be great!  I am going to try to post my work from the camp but I'm not sure how good the reception will be, keep your fingers crossed.  Hope you have a great week and I'll talk with you soon.
