Happy Birthday Cards

These cards were created from the Card Confidence Program "Originals" from the layout "Traingle Down" except I didn't use the triangle.

I used the Cricut Artiste cartridge to create the flower embellishment on this card.

I like the simplicity of this card so I found this dainty pink ribbon that seemed to fit perfectly for the look I was creating.

• Cut the following Cricut^® Art Philosophy shapes using paper of choice, if desired:
• 1" and 1 1/2" Shift <Star4> (p. 49)
• Add visual interest by randomly stamping the small star in Lagoon ink on Lagoon cardstock.
• Embellish with your choice of stamped accents and accessories, adding dimension with 3-D foam tape as desired.

• To create the two-tone look on the Lagoon and Pear pinwheel in the lower left of the page, stamp the image once in Pear ink and again in Lagoon ink; trim the striped portion from the Lagoon image and attach them over the striped portions on the Pear image
• Embellish with stamped accents, paper accents, and accessories, adding dimension with 3-D foam tape as desired.

• To stamp the border image horizontally along the container, ink the image and then roll it across the container.

• To create the Lagoon yo-yo, cut two 4 1/4" × 11" pieces of cardstock; score and fold each piece every 1/2"; attach the two together to create the pinwheel; reinforce the back of the yo-yo with a scrap piece of paper to keep the pinwheel in place.
• Embellish with paper accents and accessories, adding dimension with 3-D foam tape as desired.

Birthday Card - re-stocking my supply

Have you ever experienced a creative flow and couldn't peel yourself away from making a bunch of cards?  Well I certainly found my groove and I needed it to!  I went in my craft room to get a birthday card for my friend Michelle and low and behold I was completely out.  I went into panic mode with only 3 days left until her birthday. 

I sat down flipped through the card confidence program "Originals" and found this layout called "Cubes & Colors" and got down to business. I liked the layout so much I made several cards and just changed the colors.
